Prior to taking sgt ken bootcamp course, I lacked confidence and the technical know-how to lead a small group fitness class. It provided me great depth of knowledge in functional fitness programmes, safety and proper form, circuit training & partner assisted drills and games. In short, I learnt a repertoire of set-skills to which raised my confidence and motivational level. Sgt ken was a great role model and I learnt from him how to effectively engage the partipants thru appropriate vocal control, eye contact, music, showmanship, verbal instructions and cadence calling. I came as a novice and left as an expert group trainer! This course was definitely a game changer for me. I have no problem handling any group fitness now. A good example was a mass walk event organised by the Spore Cancer Society in April this year. As a recent cancer survivor cum a fitness bootcamp trainer I was given the honour to lead a 10-12 min warm-up session for about 350 odd participants..mainly 50yrs and above. Though I was out of action for one over year due to my cancer treatment…I felt at ease handling such a big crowd of seniors by using the set skills which I learnt from the Sgt Ken level 1& 2 senior bootcamp instructor course. The positive feedback I got from the participants and the organisers were really fabulous. I would not have being able to pull off this huge workout without the solid foundations instilled in me from the course..Thank you Sgt Ken and thank you Fit S’pore for giving me the opportunity to do this course. I am hoping you will able to bring in Sgt Ken’s Master Trainer bootcamp course soon.
