Adaptive, client centric, and evidence based – These three words sum up Joel’s approach to exercise coaching succinctly. Joel’s personal training journey spans seven years and counting, dabbling in performing arts, martial arts, and competitive strength sport as a powerlifter.

Joel coaches both individual clients and group classes, and has also collaborated with a successful dance studio to create and deliver educational resources on strength and conditioning with the goal of reducing injury rates in the local dance community.

Joel specialises in the progressive application of resistance training modalities, such as free weight and barbell training to improve strength, body composition, and overall health and fitness. His empathetic, client centric approach aims to help you accomplish your fitness goals.
