Yes — the program is fully online and can be completed at the student’s own pace.

For the English course, we currently do not have any live or in-person sessions.

The module tests are primarily there to check learning progress, and students have multiple opportunities to complete them.

To obtain the certification, students must complete all 8 modules and then take the final certification exam. This exam is available online through the GPNi website, directly below the course modules.

Each student receives 2 free attempts for the final exam. If a third attempt or more is needed, a small additional fee will apply.

This is an internationally recognized professional certification. In Singapore, its value for career development may depend on the employer, organization, or professional pathway involved. If the student is asking about a specific regulatory or licensing requirement in Singapore, it would be best to confirm that directly with the relevant local body.

Yes. The ISSN-SNS and CISSN certification is valid for 2 years. During that 2-year period, the student must obtain 10 CECs in order to maintain the certification as active.

PNE L1+ISSN-SNS:
Requirements:
No formal post-secondary coursework is required. However, candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of basic exercise training, general nutrition, sports supplements, and to be familiar with the ISSN’s current position papers. To register for the SNS exam, candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a high school diploma or equivalent.

PNE L2 Masters + CISSN:

Requirements (You can sign up as long as you meet one of the requirements.)

• Dietician / Nutritionist
• Degree in exercise or sports science
• If you have a 4-year degree in an unrelated field (e.g. psychology, sociology, liberal arts, etc), you are still eligible to take the exam. However, it is highly recommended (but not mandatory) that you take and pass a semester long college/university level course in Sports Nutrition or related class.
• Or previously by GPNi with PNE Level-1 + ISSN-SNS within the past two years

For both courses, the final exams are multiple-choice exams:

• For the SNS certification exam, students have 90 minutes to complete 100 questions.
• For the CISSN certification exam, students have 120 minutes to complete 200 questions.
• A score of 75 or above is required to pass.

The exams are graded automatically by the system, so students will be able to see their score immediately after completing the exam.

The exams are taken directly on the GPNi website. Once the student clicks “Start Exam,” the computer will enter full-screen mode. Please note that students should not exit or interrupt the exam during this time, as doing so will be considered as completing the exam and the paper will be submitted automatically.

After a student passes the exam, we will prepare the certificate and notify the student by email.
