
Kickbox the last level to achieve and needs to have Level 1 & Advanced as a pre-requisite. Kickbox is an 8 hour course designed to utilize Boxing, Muay Thai and European Kickboxing methods that will take the Fitness Professional to another level. This course is taught exclusively with Thai Pads.
You will learn a range of new and in depth techniquesand incorporate and build on what you have learnt in Level 1 & Advanced courses. The Kickbox course will allow to focus on two speciality fields to maximize your coaching ability-Advanced Boxing and Kickboxing.
As with all Thump boxing courses many of the learning principals, techniques and combinations you learn in the Kickbox course follows a system of multiple levels of coaching to further enhance your training and development.

Course Outline
Holding Thai Pads:
Learn and understand the difference between the methods needed to hold Thai Pads from Focus Pads.
All the Moves learnt in Level 1& Advanced:
All the techniques needed to now use Thai Pads with all the moves learnt in Level 1 & Advanced.
Safety and Injury Prevention:
What is the safest way and how to prevent injuries to you and your clients especially with the technical difficulty utilizing Thai Pads.
Kickboxing moves:
Elbows (left and right), Switching, Knees, Snap Kicks, Push Kicks, Roundhouse Kicks, all kicks taught with using both legs (utilizing the switch).
Kick boxing Combinations:
Learn hot to put together and construct safe and effective kickboxing combinations with proper flow and technique.
Kickboxing cardio routines:
Learn how dynamic kickboxing routines and moves can increase the aerobic and anaerobic conditioning of your clients
Thump Instructor Courses Summary
The Thump Boxing for Fitness courses are designed to educate and assist Fitness leaders, Personal Trainers and Gym Instructors on how to properly teach, construct and conduct boxing for fitness classes or sessions in all types of environments. The courses are designed for any level of experience especially for those who have no experience at boxing.
The course covers a wide range of topics associated with boxing and fitness with an emphasis on injury prevention, correct punching techniques and pad holding. We take the principals of professional boxing training as well as the principals of functional fitness training and combine them to form a unique training regime.
Mainly we steer away from the concept of fighting in the ring and show how boxing for fitness training can help you achieve your desired results. We use structured teaching methods which are in accordance with the parameters set by Fitness Australia guidelines.
