The Ripple P.R.O Aquatic Fitness certification aims to provide you with the basic tools and knowledge to get started on your aqua fitness instructor journey, in order to deliver safe, efficient and enjoyable aquatic training for adults. The Ripple Club designed this course to educate fitness professionals in the specific needs of healthy adults as well as special populations with chronic conditions and/or limitations.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Learn the basic physiological and kinesiological training concepts specific to training in the water
- Strengthen your understanding of the basic psychology of motivation, cueing, and the power of positive reinforcemen
- Understanding the basic differences behind aquatic and land-based exercise
- Identify special populations and understand general characteristics, exercise guidelines, and programming considerations for each
- Learn how to perform upper body and lower body movements in the water.

Regular: S$1,200

- Pre-Requisite:
- Existing Group Exercise certificate (such as AFAA, AEA, FISAF, REPS, ACE etc.)
- Current CPR / AED certification
- 1-year experience teaching group exercise classes recommended

Alicia is a certified group exercise, aqua aerobics, pre and post-natal instructor with a specialisation in rehabilitation and older adults training, having helped thousands of clients over the past 12 years get stronger in the water and lead more fulfilling lives.
